It's been a while..
Hello Woolly Friends!
It's been really hard to know what to say in light of the Corona virus Pandemic which has turned our world upside down. So many people have lost so much and so many people have given so much, so talking about wool seemed trivial and not appropriate really. But as we gradually emerge from our lockdown, in a safe and alert way, it now feels okish to talk about yarn.
So many of our lovely customers have been keeping me busy with orders and queries so here at Woolly HQ it has been near normal but eerily quiet in between. Apart of course from the drone of the OH voice from the study 'working from home' and the hysteria and funny noises murmurring from the Teenager's bedroom when the 'live' lessons are in progress.
I've also had a short liaision with upholstery with the help of Mr You Tube and Dr Google ... I did 'Ask Jeeves' but he wasn't there??!! The long and short of it is - upholstery is REALLY hard! and technical and hard on the hands! So stick with the knitting Girls!
I'll be back again soon and hope you understand the lack of chatter in these difficult times.
